Balcony life
I've moaned a couple of times earlier this year about the apparent evidence that the March frosties caused mass death on the balcony. Actually, they would appear not to have done so, although they do seem to have contributed to the Japanese maple having about 25% the number of leaves it had last year. Most things have simply been retarded and are doing quite nicely now, thank goodness. And the frosts cannot be held responsible for the fact that the camellia hasn't flowered for a second year in a row. It's now been put in special measures....
We spent a quiet day around the flat today, and I was in and out the balcony door, doing some tidying up and general watering, as well as washing the windows. But mainly, at least in the second half of the day, I've just been staring at my computer screen reading stuff. Work stuff.
