After the Storm

The wind blew and then it got very still.  And all of a sudden the rain came down in buckets, the wind came whistling back, and the lightning spawned the booming thunder.  It thrashed about for half an hour and cleared out just as quickly as it had come.
    And it left behind a rainbow as an apology.
