Mirror, mirror

The Castle of St George high above Lisbon is a stunning affair, more like something out of Israel than Europe in terms of stonework and moorish influences. Huge in scale, very calming atmosphere. One of the loveliest places I've been to, I think I liked it more than the Real Alcazar in Seville - less affected, more natural. At the moment they have a number of installations in the grounds including this thought provoking mirror sculpture.

Lovely vegan restaurant in the evening - Food Temple - where you ate on the steps rather than at a table (see extra).

Fabulous day although very hot. 32 degrees at one point.
