Purple Loosestrife

Another rainy day - just spoken to my friend in Athens who is sweltering in such high temperatures!
We were going to Langport this morning but the queues on the A303 where it’s being widened made us change our plans and we headed for the Newt instead!
A wren sang its heart out as we walked up the path - so beautiful!
I watched the second Women’s semi final at Wimbledon which was gripping - hope Jabeur can win on Saturday. Disappointed for the Ikranian woman who had done so well up to now .
