Mr/Mrs Magnificent
It was a last minute decision to go over to RSPB Bempton. The weather was set fair, so we got early start. It meant a few extra birds to add to our year list: Gannet, of course, Guillemot and Razorbill. I managed a solitary Fulmar and although Puffins were in short supply, careful scrutiny of the cliffs revealed the odd one or two (see extras). I also saw my first Tree Sparrows of the year, but Corn Buntings eluded us.
The trip was with it just for the Gannets - they are such magnificent birds that I could watch all day long.
