Great trip out to see the Summer Exhibition at the RA. A whole load of exhibits including a Joe Lycett selling for a mere £1.4 million (ha ha), to superb portraits, still life, views from windows, architecture, sculpture and textile art. Wonderful. Extras of some of the brilliant views on offer (apologies to the couple featured, but it was such a beautiful composition, I couldn’t resist). I shall try to pluck up courage to submit an entry next year.
