Mission Accomplished

I've been watching photos of plover chicks on IG and FB for weeks, waiting patiently to get to the beach to try to capture one of my own.  It's late in the season for them, so I have only been able to find juveniles that have lost the fluff factor.  I made my fourth trip this morning, and finally, the first bird I saw was this little chick.  It was fortunate, because it was the only chick I could find on the entire stretch of nesting sites.  Thank you little one, for brightening my day!
