St Andrew's

Return to Aberdeen today. On our way back (roughly) we stopped at St Andrew’s. I have been here several times in the past, including not that long ago, earlier this year. It was winter then. In summer it was much more colourful. The display at this church was amazing, and certainly worthy of a blip.

We spent a couple of hours strolling round St Andrew’s. On the way out of town we stopped at a “Larder” for lunch. It was an uneventful journey back until we were on the Aberdeen bypass. Then the heavens opened. The bypass was not so much a road as a very shallow river. The rain was falling fast than the water could be cleared. Thankfully the rain at that intensity did not last very long.
