Greys Court near Henley upon Thames

Down to Kent for a few days.

We try and break the journey up with a stop at a National Trust property close to our route.

This time it was Greys Court near Henley on Thames. A lovely building with great views ( see first extra ).

There was a sculpture exhibition in the gardens and the 2nd extra shows a leaf from one of the exhibits.

Mrs C and I both selected one of the exhibits which we decided to purchase. So a dent in the holiday money before we even got started.

Picnic lunch under a tree in lovely sunshine.

I purchased a Power Booster for our phones as they will not charge up in Mrs C’s car if you are using SatNav on your phone. You also cannot get any sound when you are plugged into the car. So my phone ran out of power and I plugged it in to the Power Booster. Did not work and phone ran out of power. Used Mrs C’s phone to get us to the hotel.

On closer inspection at the hotel  I discovered there was a power button on the Power Booster. No wonder it would not work. :(
