Down at the river…
the Field Thistles, Bluebells, Meadowsweet, Trefoils and Clovers are all flowering. The cloud was just rolling back off the Cairngorms, revealing a tiny patch of snow. The blue overhead became a dark grey cloud, but got the whole walk in the dry. However, showers prevented grass cutting at home. Another day tomorrow!
The Swallows had their four young out on the fence , like washing drying, and raced around the field collecting insects then dashing back to feed them.
