Magpies

One for sorrow,
Two for joy,
Three for a girl,
Four for a boy,
Five for silver,
Six for gold,
Seven for a secret, never to be told.

Seeing two magpies at the bus stop was more than enough for me. I would not be happy to see seven. I don't trust them.
