picnic in the shades of pemberley

Today's challenge was to head out without spending anything.... we're not as good at that as we'd like to be. It was actually very easy thanks to our snazzy new National Trust lifestyle.

We threw together some sandwiches and a batch of scones after church (I ditched Delia in favour of Mary Berry and the results were splendid). We even found some bucks fizz languishing on the wine rack which went down a treat. Afternoon tea at Lyme Park was a definite hit with the littlest Bullivant. She insisted on trying her first swig of tea and appeared to enjoy it - we evidently have a proper northern lass on our hands!
