New Lens...

..is crystal clear! Having become accustomed to my 32 year old Nikkor 50mm f1.4 during the last few months, I decided to upgrade to a modern version of the same which allows me to focus better and integrate with the camera's sophisticated systems. I loved the manual-ness of the old one, and the clarity but I was losing too many shots because the camera body does not have a focusing screen like my film cameras had to help me get it right first time. The exposure readings were also not true and it seemed a waste of the D3x body. First impressions indicate that the resolution is as good with this new one as with the old!
