Heritage trams

A tram rumbling through busy Cashel St pedestrian mall in central Christchurch, full of school holiday passengers! Tram 244 is from Melbourne and was built in 1925.

In extras, tram 1888 is photographed in Cathedral Junction on another part of the central city route. Built in 1934, it is also from Australia and arrived in Christchurch in 2017.
