A spot of colour

Finally tackled some basic gardening. I am very proud to state that two and a half years after moving in...I have planted something! We are always very good at clearing, weeding and digging up beds, but I still have so much to learn if I am going to get my garden looking like next doors!! Well, I now have a couple of lilies, some lavender, three tomato plants and this pink spiky flowered thing that I can't remember it's name, but it looks great in my pot!!
To top off a good day, we were invited to my sisters for a BBQ...and very nice it was too!
