Time for a Rest!

My houseguest left midday today. I really enjoyed her visit...she's a lot of fun and knows a lot about plants...surely as much as I do! Then I hosted our book club since I'd chose then book. I went back to a very old favorite of mine: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. Love this book and the others really enjoyed reading it too, although most of us had read it as children. Fun to revisit.

I went to the grocery store midday and found this rather funky colored dahlia. It was a huge bloom  probably 6" across. Sadly the only photo I took today. I'll have more time soon! And many apologies for being behind on journals!
