Reggie
We were over to Glasgow today to see fellow blipper R (Street Corner Society) who is very kindly looking after my Glasgow flat for a couple of months (well she's paying for the privilege, but it's nice to know there's someone reliable in it, and it's helping her out too between flats so it's win-win really. Isn't the blip community marvellous?). Reggie is one of her cats - definitely the shyer of the two, but this ended up being the clearer photo I took of the two of them (I preferred the picture of Ronnie composition-wise but he wouldn't stay still for a second so it was just too blurred). It was lovely meeting R after all this time, next time we really must do lunch.
It was quite a manic day and we've only really just stopped at 9pm. After coming back from Glasgow we took some stuff to the tip, and also spent some time at the allotment. The fencing is now properly finished, and P also made us a gate. The best news is that we had some potatoes finally showing, so I earthed them up (listen to me, I sound like I know what I'm talking about!), and another plotholder gave us some surplus-to-requirements celeriac so I planted them and we'll see what happens to them. We also added a compost bin to the plot (if I'm honest I'm particularly excited about the compost-making bit of the allotment adventure). Once home we wrestled the sofa bed from upstairs to bring downstairs to fill the gap where the armchairs that went to the tip had created. We only managed to rip one electric socket out of the wall in the process and were still speaking at the end of it so I think that was a good result, all in all!
I'm ready for a weekend now though!
