Smokey

I spent a lot of the day doing some pre grazing surveys on a group of fields. Unfortunately it's so dry one of them that has more native grasses is dying off in the drought so that's one whole area of grazing. The other ones are slow coming back but there is a wee bite of grass. As the day progressed the smoke got thicker and heavier and ash was raining in the evening. My sinuses really don't like it or my lungs. Really really need rain it's getting pretty bad with fires and running out of grass on the ranch and in many other ranches. 1million hectares on fire in BC alone. Nearest is 20km from us that is being held.
