WI outing

Our summer outing was a boat trip on Lake Windermere followed by afternoon tea.
We had an early start so that we got to The Belsfield Hotel at Bownass-on-Windermere to collect our tickets for our trip to Ambleside and back on the Tern, one of Windermere’s tourist boats. It was very cold on board so I spend my time in the cabin. After our trip, we returned to the hotel for a delicious afternoon tea. It would have been nice if the day had been warmer, but we all had a good time.
