Seasalter - but no sea

A very pleasant day out around Whitstable, walking, slower than usual, from Seasalter to Tankerton and back passing through Whitstable Harbour.

A flat route which as good for me as I’m still feeling the after effects of last week’s episode. Plenty of stops, for a coffee in the morning, lunch at Tankerton slopes and tea and a scone at the Hotel Continental on the way back.

We made it back home just in time to get a book back to the library at 5.00pm. It’s only open in the afternoon on Wednesdays and closed all day Thursdays. The book could be renewed online as it was requested by another reader. We avoided incurring a fine.

Thank you very much for your lovely responses to me being passed fit. I think many of you were rooting for me!

Last night’s meeting with an old friend from college days in Worcester was very enjoyable. He gave me “An illustrated history of Worcester College of Higher Education “ which I will enjoy reading. As we both said it’s as if the intervening 50 years were but yesterday.
