Rosebay Willowherb

Epilobium augustifolium

No butterfly walk today so I took myself up to Whiteshute Ridge.  It is currently smothered in great stretches of rosebay willowherb, the pink of which I especially love against dark clouds.  I'm tagging this for WidWed as well as WFW.  The subject for WidWed is 'straight' (for their towering spikes) with BobsBlips hosting - thank you, Bob.  WFW23 is this month being hosted by ApolloFly, who very kindly offered.  Truly grateful, P.
