A sign

I stayed in until the plumber popped in - the same guy who had fixed the leak in the upstairs toilet four years ago (he remembered it vividly as he'd had to smash up the tiles to get at it - 'Plumbing should always be accessible!', he expostulated). This time it turned out to be something to do with a displaced bath overflow and the shower not draining properly - took him all of ten minutes to fix.

After that I treated myself to a small expedition to Sainsburys for a new light bulb and met Stewart the seagull reminding us that he is lord of all he surveys around here.
