WB Sails round the buoys race

At 07:00 me and J left home and drove to Helsinki, Lauttasaari. We joined team X-372 and participated to a sailing competition "WB Sails round the buoys race" arranged by HSK (Helsingfors Segelklubb). We had a crew of 5 persons; boat owner Olli, Touho, Antti plus me and J. Our start was at 11:05. The race consisted of 3 separate starts, 2 laps each.

In the picture our team is soon to cross finish line the third time. Our team's final result was 11th position out of 17.

The wind was ideal and sun shined. We didn't do any bad mistakes, everything went very well. It was the first race this year for team X-372. Now my small and weak arm muscles are totally powerless... It was a tough race - lots of actions and no time to rest. However, it was amazing feeling to be at sea and sail!!!!

We were back home at 21:00.
