Contrasts

Taking advantage of a special offer of a train trip plus museum visit, I made my way to Amsterdam.

Instead of getting out at the central station, I got out at Amsterdam Amstel. I don't really know why, just felt like it.
And what a pleasant surprise when I arrived there: a lovely station, 1930's built if I'm not mistaken.

Then I strolled through the streets, eventually arriving at the van Gogh museum. A fantastic collection, the colours burst out and hit you full-on. A talented man, and a local :)

After that, wandered slowly to central station, stopping to have dinner on the way. Here are some more photos.
