Ars-en-Re

We cycled a little further today, along the coast to St. Martin and then over to Ars, where we ate our picnic in the square and had a look round the church before heading back to La Couarde - mainly because there was no ice cream at Ars. Later on we went back to the harbour at La Flotte for drinks and to restock on provisions before Tom and Millie arrived, somewhat flight-delayed, for their tea. I even managed to rustle up a half decent steak hache frites (well, oven chips) to go with the bread and salad...
