Verbena rigida

This is a low-growing Verbena I didn't know until I worked as a gardener at an Oxford college, where they had lots growing through various borders and in the rose garden. It's a wonderful filler and it spreads happily, like most verbenas!

I took a few cuttings before I left, nice to see this one sending shoots upwards. I'll divide and plant them out soon.
