This sculpture is outside Ronaldsway Airport where I returned this evening to have a second go at getting back home. My flight on Saturday was cancelled at the last minute and this evening was the next opportunity to fly home.

I’ve been incommunicado for six days. My friend’s WiFi did not work at all for me or any others from “across”. Texts arrived over a day after I sent them. It’s been a mixture of liberation and frustration. A good time with Gail though and she graciously accommodated me for an extra two days.

Delayed boarding and departure and landing and we finally got home at nearly 2a.m. D had come to meet me and had decided the train then bus was the way to travel from the airport….

I’m tired!
