Last gate

The weather has not looked particularly promising all day but it held off until the very end of the day when all the students had gone home. And then it was torrential with thunder and possibly also lightning, although I didn't see it myself. I did think I might not make it out for a second run but, by the time I was home and Bailey fed, it was sunny and most of the puddles had dried up. 

A varied Tuesday: duty, just one lesson, an appraisal meeting (not mine), supervising students not in their lessons and being on an interview panel for an internal post. It was a very quick one as a result and enough energy to run at the end of it and make it to the gate.
