Smiling at me

I grew these sunflowers from seed and they are now about 5ft tall. I prefer the smaller ones.

I’d ordered some verbascum and solve salvias and they arrived today. I’ve potted them on as I won’t be able to plant them until the weekend. Someone at work said that I must like gardening. The love of gardening kept me going when David died.

There are some baby blackbirds in the garden at the moment and I’m enjoying watching them.
