There was a lot happening in the Meadows this weekend, bands playing, children building a scary looking paper bee the size of a car, stalls selling anything you can think of, random barbecues and lots of sizzling bared arms.

Dogs Trust set up a few games for energetic dogs and their enthusiastic owners, including a game of 'musical mats', which was also a show of handling skills, this collie won in the end but needed a reminder to sit sometimes.
