The Pond

Back up to St Ives Estate today, the first time in ages. It seems to have reopened the roads closed for the felling.
A bit of a sad experience though. They appear to have decimated a lot of the woodland on the paths past the pond. I do hope it was all necessary.
They are now relaying paths which in itself is causing another boatload of mess. I can see it being decades before it looks anything like it used to. That’s if it ever will :-(
