Another half day spent in the garden clearing, tidying and planning for lots of new flower plants next year. I'll have to be "picky", nothing tall it's too windy, lots of colour so much green about, need to be hardy and grow without constant sunshine. The garden is south facing and has no shade but our summer is short up here. We can go from roasting one day to quite chilly the next with wind and rain, or just plain grey skies! I'm sure I'll find some suitable plants, my lavender grows quite well. I want to be able to just sit and enjoy on the days when it's nice and not be thinking about under-ripe tomatoes and stunted courgettes!
