A Bleak Winter's Day

Another day, another cloud inversion.  +5C.  This morning I walked down the hill to have a cuppa and scone with the church ladies.  I walked home around the block, which is where I took this photo, and the extra.  I did notice that the lake is quite low!

After lunch I drove into town, and did a shop, mainly for the birds.  Birdseed, bird fat, apples and bananas.  That should keep them happy for the next few days.  The fire has been going all day, so I am nice and warm.  It would be lovely to see the sun tomorrow.
