"Holiday in Bedford" II - the Embankment

It really felt like a holiday this morning, coffee on the outside terrace at the Swan Hotel after breakfast at 10 o'clock in the blazing hot sun. Vivien and I took a roundabout walk along the Embankment and back up the other side of the river, past the bandstand.
