Busy Day

Our daughter dropped in with the young master while his sister was at football. He stayed with us while his mum picked up little Miss B, then they all ended up staying for the day. Weeks ago LMB helped me plant a couple of seed potatoes and today she helped my harvest both potatoes and rhubarb. (She keeps a pair of gardening gloves here.) She was disappointed to find no worms in our hard, dry, clay soil, but pleased to find a ladybird.

Meanwhile, the young master was enjoying the fresh air (rather humid actually). They had fun in the garden and indoors. LMB loves building and created a butterfly garden, complete with a shallow drinking tray, and a tent out of blankets and a clothes-horse / maiden / airer; call it what you will. We had lunch here and everyone ate well - especially the baby boy who now has four teeth! A lovely day!
