The wedding day

The village hall was looking very festive for the wedding today. I wasn’t attending so just enjoyed a peak inside before everyone arrived.
Guests were delivered to the event in a big red double decker London bus! It was a bit of a surprise seeing it passing my house.
The wedding party were all very well behaved - no complaints from neighbours. Phew.
But we did have a visit from the fire brigade. Someone had started a fire under one of the big trees in the field behind the village. It had smouldered away quietly until someone spotted it and called 999. All sorted , excitement over.
