Wet walks

Took Phin to Dalkeith country park this morning but we timed it badly as it started raining the minute we stepped out of the car. Phin had fun splashing in the river as he always does and was pretty well behaved until we were almost at the car when he chose to run away and play hide and seek in the car park. Luckily we got hold of him before any traffic moved.

We had another walk in the late afternoon with Paz and Ramos where I heard all about her trip to Holyrood palace last Tuesday for the Royal Garden party. It sounded fun but a bit damp and too many umbrellas around to get much of a look at the King and Queen.

Tried my hand at veggie burgers tonight, a lot of faff for very little eating so not sure they will be a regular feature on the menu.
