On Top Of The World

Well not really I was actually standing atop The Bunnet Stane I found out about this place yesterday and hunted it down today.
Well it has been a week full of emotion this week as this time last week I was apprehensive entering the hospital for my testing of Sleep Apnea with a few tears through the night along with being diagnosed with the condition but I have had a week with my CPAP machine and mask at home and I do feel I have been getting some good sleep at night then the rest of the week was absolutely lovely indeed with a feeling of euphoria at times which has made me so happy I have had a great week the first in a long time and the lovely feeling has carried on through the week with me cycling and climbing the Bunnet Stane today it is not very well known about but a nice feature I will create a folio with some other shots it is created out of sandstone from millions of years ago when this area of Fife was an ocean millions of years ago and it has weathered to give this effect it was tough to get up top as I had to lean from the rocks to the right and get a grip hold and heave my lardy ass to the top it was a great feeling indeed but getting back I had to leap over to the rocks on the right with the feeling a bit wobbly just before the jump but I needed to do it as in early September when my holiday around the USA finishes in Vegas I will be jumping from the 108th floor of the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas with a cable to my back it is just under a 1000 feet jump so this will seem like a piece of cake,anyway with me being on such a high right now I felt it was worth the risk when you get up top there is about a 100ft drop to the left but it was a great view and day where I visited my mum gave her a nice hug then came here before enjoying a beer and a couple glasses of wine in the garden whilst the weather was beautiful so when I was at the top I sat down for a bit to have some quiet thoughts to myself thinking of lovely people and far away towns and city's and it just felt good to be in the moment after putting myself through a lot of stress recently worrying about health issues but I feel things are turning for the better with a renewed vigor in my life so this is my blip for the day near the village of Gateside in Fife atop the Bunnet Stane with the Lomond hills behind me movie for the day is "The Bowler And The Bunnet 1967" See Ya.
