The Best of the Day

We were out at 5:30am to do our Wetland Bird Survey today. I decided not to take my camera - so of course, we had sightings of Common Sandpipers and a family of Great Crested Grebes. It was a quite cool but otherwise a beautiful morning, unlike later in the day which was wet and windy.
A garden visitor saved the day as far as blipping was concerned.
