Piggy in the Middle

A very interesting morning at Waddesdon when volunteers were treated to an informative talk on the family at The Manor - who they were and how they lived. Two highly trained and knowledgeable Guides talked us through various aspects of the history.
Afterwards we were able to look at the basement and the attic floors - normally inaccessible. This piggy was one of three in a private apartment on the top floor - not used now but very homely.

Dental appointment later.
Security company back to do a few adjustments to our alarm system at home.
