Very common, often very abundant. Southern and central Finland, southern Lapland. Pretty much all kinds of standing waters, especially eutrophic and well-vegetated lakes and ponds.

This one captured on Lupinlahti- bay, Hamina.
We were there enjoying heat and sun. So great!
