The end of the road....

Set off along the east coast road with the intention of ending up in Cape Breton.  The road came to a rather abrupt end at a sea inlet but was saved by the chain boat that shuttled cars, bikes, trucks etc back and forth.  5 minutes later we were on the other side and off again.  Went ahead when we should have turned left at one stage, we thought  maybe all was not right when  we noticed grass growing in the  middle of the main road, a few naughty words, turned around and 2 miles later back on track.
We finally arrived on the island of Cape Breton and  spent the rest of the hot day in Dundee at the bottom end of Bras D'Or Lake.  It is Sunday and very warm so very quiet.
A nap and then scallops and fettuccine with a salad for supper.  Life is good.
The extra is of a  North American squirrel, they are tiny and very quick but like any squirrel great at getting a free meal.
