Spiritual Warfare In Daniel's Time And Our Time

July is a different kind of month at FBC.  Oh, it is still hot outside and indoors our fellowship and worship are still both sweet and refreshing, but the choir and orchestra are on sabbatical, so our ensemble groups aid in leading the worship and I get to show you some of our regular accompanists , as well.  Today our men's Southern Gospel group, Aire to The Throne, took their turn to provide our call to worship and special music and also help Daniel and Gabe lead the corporate worship before Pastor Wes took us into Daniel, Chapter 10.  Here, we find Daniel in "retirement" from his official position with the government, but still hearing about some of the problems his people are  having as they are endeavoring to rebuild the Temple .  Daniel is doing what he can for them, by fasting and praying for God's solution, when God speaks to him in a vision regarding the spiritual warfare that is taking place between the forces of good and evil, between angels and demons and his part in it, because of his prayers.  Pastor Wes has much more to say about the whole situation in the Live-stream, including why we need to know about it in our lives today.  It is still going on and we need to follow Daniel's example in praying for God's solutions for the tumultuous times we live in.  God will answer us because He is personal, tender and sovereign in His dealings with us.....
