Admiring the View

You can see what he was looking at, and the other side of the abandoned building on his Blip. With no Adega and no Sem Fim, we had time to get the kayak out. Launched from under the Luz bridge, and paddled to the Granja bridge, took us less than an hour. There, we stopped to stretch our legs and explore this place, built, so it was carved on the chimney, in 1904, if we read it right.

Gratefuls:
- archetypal Alentejano summer lunch of gaspacho (quite different to Spanish gazpacho, photo here) and fried mackerels, small enough to eat whole
- being able to drive to church and avoid the blazing sun a bit
- watching a gorgeous sunset at the end of our paddle
