Last look

After last night’s heavy rain we expected the stream beside the campsite to be a torrent but it was surprisingly placid if a little higher than before.
Packed up before lunchtime and went to the pub for a roast lunch then folded up the van and on the road by 2.30.
Stopped at Wetherby for a cup of tea and Grantham for a second cuppa while the rain lashed down. The A1 was pretty well swamped for the next ten miles but dried out soon after and we were home by 9 pm.
