Pirkkala Viking Fair

We bicycled to Reippi to participate the Pirkkala Viking Fair. The fair is inspired by the Viking era and also by the archaeological discoveries made in the Tursiannotko area in Pirkkala, near Reippi area. It was great to get a journey back to the Iron Age. It was also lovely to bicycle in beautiful country scenery! There was freshly cut hay and it smelled wonderful.

In the evening grandmother organised us pancake party - we celebrated Emma's birthday, without birthday girl being present. She is at Ruisrock rock festival in Turku with her friends Rosanna and Veera. The festival started in Friday and ended today.
