Spelunking

Cracking afternoon getting a tour of the Weymss Caves today. Only slated for an hour and a half, we ended up tagging an extra hour onto that, and all the better for it - would have felt rushed otherwise.

The caves house some amazing ancient Pictish carvings, sitting at the southern boundary of the ancient Pictish lands. Run by volunteers (where would we be without enthusiastic local historians?) the tour is ticketed but free, though a donation will be winging its way shortly.
