Success

I reckon that we can call yesterday’s engineering a success.

Usual rabble of rooks and jackdaws first thing, and in the past the fat block would have been all gone by late morning when I took this shot.

It was only a half block to start with (rations, half front lawn and half back lawn), but they’ve had a good go at the end but only made a few indentations in the middle, all of which they are welcome to.

I trimmed all the hedges today, now I’m paying the price.

Early night called for.  We have to get Mrs W to Peterborough for 07.30 for her cataract operation.  Then I have to kill a couple of hours at the time of day that I need the loo – wish us both luck . . .
