Birthday cake

A quiet morning after I had gone to the Titirangi supermarket for fresh bread to go with the cassoulet S made for today's family lunch. Young L was unfortunately suffering from a URTI caught from his dad and so wasn't able to be with us. Late in the day Tsuken rang from Sydney, as did my brother and youngest sister.

Daughter C is the cake maker having adopted the mantle from S. A series of problems led to a rescue and we enjoyed a very tasty cake. Vigorous conversation helped digest the lunch
