Ben is 25!!!!

Our dear Ben is celebrating his 25th birthday today.  I am amazed at how fast the time has gone, and now he's a young man!

I had a few errands to run this morning, so didn't get home till just before 12 noon, he'd been wondering where I was.  

So I took him out for pizza and beer at The Doonan, which is fast becoming our new favourite place to go for wood-fired pizzas. 

Back home to start baking his cake, he requested red velvet. 

We're going to a new Asian fusion restaurant in Maroochydore for dinner. Jon drove up as soon as he finished work and met us there.  

Really lovely, well thought out food, we had a great meal.  And hopefully Ben has had a great day.  Unfortunately, his birthday present did not arrive in time, but he did have other presents to open!
